Omnivend was founded in 2003 and is now the partner of choice for organisations throughout the world seeking a highly responsive network management specialist with vision, innovation and a culture of excellence.

Omnivend is at the forefront of network management systems technology and has proven the superior flexibility and reliability of its proprietary system, Omninet, through its network of vending kiosks in Ireland.

The company was founded by a number of senior professionals from the technology, telecoms, financial, legal and commercial sector. This focused mix of combined skill sets makes Omnivend unique in this fast moving global industry. The Omnivend management team is supported by skilful software and hardware engineers who manage the Network Operations Centre (NOC) and the building, deployment, maintenance and support of the Omninet network.

Fiona Dowd, BSc. MBA
Managing Director

Fiona graduated with a Science degree, completing an MBA in Technical Sales & Marketing. Fiona started work (1994) with Iona Technologies for 9 years based firstly in Ireland and then for 6 years in Boston. While in Boston, Fiona was instrumental in negotiating a number of international partnerships. Fiona also reported directly to the Iona board on the US revenues, which was under tight control as Iona sought a US NASDAQ listing in 1997.

Declan Fox, BSc. MBA, PMP
Omnimedia Managing Director

Declan is a seasoned professional (20 years) with senior management expertise in multinational companies such as Ericsson, France Telecom and Motorola. In later years Declan was the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of a successful high- growth technology company, Comnitel Technologies based in Cork, Ireland, now part of IBM Corp.

Pat Lynch, FCCA, MBA
Finance Director

Pat brings his vast accounting experience and entrepreneurial skills to the board. He has held various accounting roles in multinational companies in Ireland for over 20 years. He started his own award winning laundry rental company in 1998, which he sold in 2001. Pat currently holds the position of Managing Director of TICN Munster a franchise that he purchased in 2002. He also sits on select boards that he has shareholdings in. Pat has significant expertise in ‘minding the money’ in relation to cash burn, profitability and very selective fund raising activities.
